  • Let’s start by getting to know you. Can you tell us about yourself, what are you doing?

I studied as a construction technician at Eastern Mediterranean University. In 2002, I left Famagusta and moved to Kyrenia, my favorite city. Since those years, my real estate life started.

“This Job Has Been My Life”

  • How did you start the real estate sector, in which areas did you specialize?

I moved to Kyrenia in 2002 and started looking for a job like everyone else. In the same year, I found a job in a real estate company and entered the real estate world. I can say that this profession has become my life. I love my job. Some think it is an easy job from the outside, but on the contrary, it is a profession that requires great responsibility and attention. Since I have been dealing with this business for many years, my area of ​​expertise is finding the immovable property that is not in our portfolio and satisfying our customers. We are trying not to turn our customers back by saying unfortunately we do not have such a real estate. Resale sales is my specialty.

“Local Buyers Prefer Urgent Sales”

  • Which countries do you work with? What is the priority of the investors in the region where you work in purchasing real estate?

Our company Henry Charles Estates works with every country. England, Russia, Arab countries, Turks living abroad and the local market. Generally, investors’ priority is Kyrenia and properties in its immediate vicinity. They prefer these regions because their rental income is higher and their rental period is faster than the outer regions. Locals invest more in properties that are for urgent sale. Investors from foreign countries can act more comfortably in their property choices as they are economically more comfortable. Their purchasing power is higher.

    • What’s in your portfolio, what kind of real estate do you market?

    Our portfolio is wide. We are very strong in other cities, especially in Kyrenia. Villas, flats, investment land and land, commercial properties and new projects. We can easily offer our investors the most special opportunities suitable for each buyer target audience. This rich portfolio is one of the reasons why they have chosen us for years.

    “As soon as the quarantine is lifted, the market will revive”

    • The opening has started. How do you evaluate the interest from foreign investors?

    Investors abroad have been waiting for an opening for a long time. They have been studying Northern Cyprus for months, searching for investment opportunities. We get a lot of phone calls from those who think investment in this beautiful country. I think a new era will begin with the opening. We are looking forward to our customers who want to come to our island. They are also very excited. As soon as the quarantine is lifted, if the process is managed properly and properly, our market will be revitalized in real terms.

    • Do you have a message for investors?

    If we compare the prices in Cyprus with other Mediterranean countries, it is much more affordable. Great climatic conditions, mountain and sea are unique. And it is now offered as an investment opportunity on a global scale. Cyprus will be a holiday paradise. If you want to live in this paradise, choose Northern Cyprus to avoid saying ‘I wish’ after years. I would be happy to assist valuable investors in your investment process.
